Prince Caspian Reviews
As the latest film installment of C.S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian is receving little better than average in its reviews. Entertainment Weekly gave the film a “B minus;” On Rotten Tomatoes, its average rating is 6.3/10; and it received two thumbs down from Ebert & Roeper. I haven’t seen Prince Caspian yet. I thought the trailer for the film looked good — better than the Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe in fact — but I may wait for video to see it after reading these reviews. I’m a fan of C.S. Lewis, but movie prices are so expensive these days that I’m reluctant to spend my money on just any movie. If you’ve seen it, what’s your general feeling about the movie?

I saw it, and it definitely had problems. Unnecessary bits and pieces were added to the storyline and overall it was not actually a good movie and didn’t even hold my attention very well. It’s very different from the book. The acting was stilted and the best part by far was Reepicheep, which isn’t saying much because he’s not in very much of the film!
Overall, this is probably one to wait until you can rent it or watch it on TV.
After my experience with the first film, I am definitely waiting for video on this one — if I see it at all.
Thanks, Meghan, for the suggestion. Seems your opinion is shared by many. I’ll probably be waiting on this one.
Clint, I had the same thought after seeing the first film
Thanks for the information and the fact that the movie more than a wonderful and full of charming scenes
i love this movie it is the best(;
I actually haven’t seen it. I saw Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe, and liked it okay. The Prince Caspian trailer did look much better but I heard mixed reviews about it.
