Back from Out West

I just got back to town yesterday from a week and a half vacation, which is why I haven’t been able to post to my site as much lately. My wife and I took a road trip out west. We went hiking in Utah, Idaho, and Arizona, and passed through a total of seventeen states during our trip. I know this post has nothing to do with the usual medieval history or historical fiction or writing, but I just wanted to share some photos from our trip.

Lake in Ogden, Utah

Snow Basin, Utah

Lake in Idaho

Bryce Canyon, Utah

At the Hoover Dam

Grand Canyon, Arizona

I have many more photos — I took about 350 in total — but I just thought I would share a select few here, a sampling of all the major outdoor places we visited.

  1. Beautiful stuff. I can’t believe you only took 350 pics! I think we take that many just going to one state. ;-)

  2. I would have taken more if I hadn’t been with the wife and some friends :) I think they get annoyed with me stopping every thirty seconds to snap a new pic.
