A new edition of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series is being released in France with new cover art. Marc Simonetti is the artist. The four covers depict: Castle Black (A Game of Thrones), Tyrion and King’s Landing (A Clash of Kings), hunting the Stark children Bran and Rickon (A Storm of Swords), and Castle Pyke (A Feast for Crows). I like the two castle covers, but I’m not a huge fan of the one where they are searching for Bran and Rickon. There are many other defining moments besides this one in A Storm of Swords that I felt the artist could have chosen to represent, arguably, the best book in the series.
