Great post, it’s great to see someone think before they post!
I’m not sure how well I did on that quiz, though I have learned “the basics” about Charlemagne from various sources. One interesting (maybe0 fact about him is, that he ordered his subjects to grow a succulent plant popularly known as “hens and chickens” on their roofs, because it was supposed to protect you from lightning. This plant, interestingly enough, is stillfrequently grown in rock gardens for fairly obvious reasons. It needs little upkeep, and is quite drought resistant, which is useful in the summertime where I live(if we ever get summer around here, that is!).
Just thought I’d pass it on.
Anne, which questions did you miss? Currently, only 4 out of 20 people have answered all questions correctly. As for “hens and chickens,” I had never heard that before. I’ll have to go look that up to see what the plant looks like. Interesting.
I’m not sure which ones I missed. You don’t have any place I can go to see the results or the answers!
What does it do after you hit the submit button? It should be showing you the answers. Can you send me a screenshot to my email in the Contact section of my site? I’d like to see the page you’re seeing after you hit submit.
For me, it’s showing an answers page after I hit submit, though you do have to scroll back up a little to see the answers. I’m using an older version of WordPress and they don’t have any good quiz plugin tools to use, so I had to create a quiz in Google docs. It’s not ideal, but it works, unless of course my users can’t see their answers. I’m not sure why it would be doing that.
I hit the “submit” button to see what happened. It looks like I got all of them right(although I’m not sure what I answered the one about Charlemagne’s father correctly. But maybe I did. Anyway, I have learned more about Charlemagne than I thought I had.
Glad it’s working now!
