The Guardian has published its list of 1000 Fantasy & Sci-Novels that everyone must read. It’s actually published in three parts, so you can continue on to parts two and three at the end of the first part. I’ve never even heard of several of these. The first three in the list:
- Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (1979)
- Brian W. Aldiss Non-Stop (1958)
- Isaac Asimov’s Foundation (1951)
Do you see any that you think should be included on this list? I haven’t had time to read all 1000 titles yet.
Haha 1000 everyone must read? I shudder at the thought of reading 1000 novels!
It’s a tall order. Like I said, I didn’t even get through reading all 1000 titles, much less reading all 1000 novels.
